Chelsea thumped Weymouth FC 13-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Cobham on Sunday. The Blues kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, but organised a friendly to help improve the fitness of late-returning players who did not get minutes. 📸 A few photos from the first-half at Cobham.

However, there were a selection of international names who took on the Vanarama National League side. The likes of Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, Emerson Palmieri, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Ethan Ampadu, Ross Barkley, Kurt Zouma, Michy Batshuayi and Davide Zappacosta all featured.

It took just four minutes for the first goal to go in and the scoreline was 8-0 at half-time. The match finished a whopping 13-0 to Chelsea. Weymouth tweeted and explained: “No lineup or goal scorers from Chelsea will be given, due to the agreement in place with them.”.
