Chelsea are now off the back of two losses on the bounce after their defeat in Turin last night.

Juventus beat the Champions of Europe 1-0 in the Champions League group stages second round of matches, and The Blues will need to dust themselves off and get ready to go again at the weekend against Southampton in the Premier League. That is now two 1-0 defeats in a row after losing to Manchester City in the league on Saturday, and this is only the second time Thomas Tuchel has lost two on the bounce since becoming Chelsea manager back in January.

Callum Hudson-Odoi was thrown on with half an hour to go in an attempt to get a goal back for Chelsea, and he showed some very promising signs. The young winger has admitted that Chelsea have ‘a lot to work on’ now in order to get things back on track and for his team to bounce back.

We came with the mentality and determination to win and we gave it our best but it was not good enough,” Hudson-Odoi told the Chelsea website . “We know that and we have to go back and reflect on it. There is a lot to improve on and a lot to work on. We did well in certain aspects but we can always do better.”
