Some good news is surfacing this Thursday afternoon on the Chelsea injury front.

The Blues have lost the last two matches in a row and have been without key player Mason Mount for both matches, and another key man Reece James for the majority of them as well.

You really notice a difference when these two fighters are not on the pitch, but it looks like they will soon be returning, according to England boss Gareth Southgate, who has been giving his press conference this afternoon ahead of the latest international break.

Southgate says that it is their understanding that both Mount and James have a good chance of playing for Chelsea this weekend against Southampton in their league fixture, as you can hear in the video below.

The pair have been selected for the latest England squad, meaning that their injuries must not be too bad and they are soon back to playing. Gareth Southgate reveals #Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Reece James could play against Southampton:
