Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic is likely to return to senior team training starting from next week, according to a report by football.london.

He has been ruled out of the Premier League giants’ first-team roster since sustaining an ankle injury while away on international duty in September.

The attacker has not played in the top-flight since the opening matchday as before the aforementioned injury Christian also had to deal with illness.

He has thus missed six of the club’s league games as well as two UEFA Champions League fixtures but fortunately, there is cause for hope. Pulisic is expected to return to regular training with the first team starting from next week and the fans will be hoping he comes back completely fit.

If indeed the ace does return to full training next week, it remains to be seen whether the former Borussia Dortmund talent manages to make an appearance for Chelsea in the game versus Brentford at the weekend.

Injuries have, sadly, been part and parcel of his stay at Stamford Bridge as Pulisic sometimes had to miss large portions of the Blues’ games. A major part of the reason he has not approached the 30 appearances mark for Chelsea in his two completed seasons in the division are injuries.
