Roman Abramovich was present at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Manchester United at the weekend, according to reports.

According to the Telegraph, the club's owner was present at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon for the first time in more than three years. Abramovich was expected to be at Chelsea's comfortable win over Juventus last week, but instead was present for the draw with United just a few days later.

The Russian billionaire attended perhaps one of the Blues' most disappointing performances of the season, as the out-of-form United team held the Premier League leaders to a draw on their home turf.

Jadon Sancho handed the visitors the lead in the second half at Stamford Bridge, before Jorginho converted from the penalty spot to ensure the points were shared.

Lots of Chelsea supporters were left disappointed with what they saw from their side on Sunday - and particularly, it seems, with Marcos Alonso, who came back into the team at left wing-back in place of the injured Ben Chilwell.

Also, some of the attacking players did not impress at Stamford Bridge and following recent reports from Italy claiming that Chelsea are readying an £84million offer to Juventus for Federico Chiesa, some Blues supporters are saying the same thing in that regard.

Despite some Chelsea supporters being disappointed with the way Thomas Tuchel's side performed on Sunday, the German coach himself believes they did enough to win the game and were eventually unfortunate to end with a point.

"Yes, for sure (it feels like two points dropped)," Tuchel said after the game on Sunday. "It's hard to imagine we could lose this – or drop points – because we were the better team, the team that set the rhythm, the intensity, and had high ball wins.

"We are disappointed but we have no regrets. This can happen in football, we know it. It doesn't feel good when it happens but it's like this. I've told the team I am happy with the performance and the way we played."
