‘He’d Cost A Lot’ ‘Not Another Injury Prone Player’ Liverpool Fans Debate Reports That Klopp Wants To Bring

Liverpool would be interested if Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is made available for transfer, according to reports in Italy. Manager Jurgen Klopp remains a big fan of the American international after seeing him come through the academy at Borussia Dortmund.

However, supporters on Twitter have questioned the merits of going after Pulisic, considering he has spent more time on the treatment table than on the pitch since his arrival at Stamford Bridge:

He'd cost too much and with our luck he'd be even more injured than normal (and that is shocking already) — Julian 👑 (@01mJulian) November 22, 2021

Injured more than he features. Talent though — Nishen Padayachee (@nishen_p) November 22, 2021

It must be pointed out that no credible source in England has so far claimed that Chelsea are ready to sell Pulisic anyway. Even if they were, though, the cost of the transfer, combined with the huge risk attached to bringing him in due to his poor injury record, would probably make a deal unlikely.

If Pulisic does get back into the Chelsea side in the coming weeks, the speculation about his future will probably die down again.
