Chelsea are looking to make yet more progress in their cup competitions for the season when they face Middlesbrough in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday. The Blues are fresh off the back of a 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League, booking their place in the last eight of that competition too.

Thomas Tuchel has found his side in fine form recently, despite all of the challenges that the club faces off the pitch in recent weeks. The short and long-term future of the club was thrown into doubt as Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK Government, placing a freeze on his UK assets.

That included the football club, which now operates under a special sporting licence that allows it to function on footballing terms but not so much on the commercial side. This means things such as tickets and merchandise cannot be sold, including away tickets for the game at the Riverside.

Tuchel will be hoping it is third time lucky in the FA Cup though, with the Blues losing the past two finals in the competition. Wins against Chesterfield, Plymouth and Luton booked their place in the quarter-finals. As for opponents Middlesbrough, they are not a side to be looked down upon.

Despite playing in the second division, the Boro have managed to beat both Manchester United and Tottenham to reach this stage. With all that said, football.london takes a look at the full squad Tuchel has to select from.

Goalkeepers: Edouard Mendy, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Marcus Bettinelli.

Defenders: Cesar Azpilicueta, Reece James (doubt), Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Malang Sarr, Trevoh Chalobah, Marcos Alonso, Kenedy.

Midfielders: N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi (doubt), Christian Pulisic, Saul Niguez, Harvey Vale.

Forwards: Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz.
