Chelsea are set to have one of the busiest summer transfer windows in the top-flight with Todd Boehly no doubt being handed a long to-do list by Thomas Tuchel. New defenders, midfielders and forwards are all on the wish list if the Blues are to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.

That is, in part, due to a looming exodus at Stamford Bridge too with Antonio Rudiger already completing his free transfer to Real Madrid while Andreas Christensen , Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso could all be on the move too.

A number of big names have been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge but no deals have got over the lines at the time of writing. With that in mind, football.london looks at all the latest rumours from west London.

Kalvin Phillips identified

One area the Blues are eager to strengthen is in midfield with both N'Golo Kante and Jorginho entering the final years of their contracts. Aurelien Tchouameni and Declan Rice have been linked with moves to the Blues but another option has now emerged.

According to The Si & Dan Talk Chelsea Podcast, the Blues are interested in Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips. Manchester United and Manchester City have also been linked after Jesse Marsch's side narrowly avoided relegation.

Liverpool plot raid

As mentioned before, a number of stars could be leaving Chelsea this summer, one of whom is winger Christian Pulisic. The American is eager to increase his game time elsewhere but that could still be in the Premier League.

According to a recent report from the Daily Star Liverpool are interested in signing Christian Pulisic to replace the outgoing Sadio Mane. It is a situation that potentially puts the Blues in a powerful position for the summer.

Raheem Sterling instruction

One of the biggest names Chelsea have been linked with this season is Raheem Sterling, with a move being considered to bolster their attack. But former goalkeeper David James has told Sterling his best option.

Speaking to GGRecon, he said: "The easy answer is, stay at City! First of all you’re going to have an opportunity to win trophies. He gets the game time, as I say, with the rotation, Raheem’s one of those 24, 25 league appearance players.
