Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has admitted that he will not stop Kaliodu Koulibaly leaving the club – giving Chelsea the green light to complete a deal

It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel could be losing a whole host of defenders at the end of the season as a number of stars are out of contract, meaning that the German will need to bring in a few more players.

And according to the same reports – the powerhouse is very tempted by a move to Chelsea and the Premier League Now – amid all the speculation – De Laurentiis has come out and admitted that he cannot stop Koulibaly from leaving the club this summer if he wants depart the club – he was quoted:

“He is a symbol of Napoli, and if he wants to no longer be a symbol, he must decide. “We must decide. We want Koulibaly to stay, but people can’t be forced to stay. “Everyone has their own dignity and needs. We respect everyone.”


Koulibaly is a man that is made for the Premier League and this may be his chance to prove himself in the English game – so if the reports are true – he could be a great partner for Thiago Silva.

The man is great in the air, quick, powerful and can hold his own when it comes downs to playing out from the back – so as we said – he could be a great signing for the Premier League
